In 2009 Kalitechna.com is undergoing a bit of re-invention - about time, yes?
I began working on a doctorate from the Grenoble Ecole de Management in November 2008. My wonderful husband suggested that I blog to capture the process and help me think through this effort, mostly to give myself a place to record and easily trace through the effort. He’s a really bright guy, and typically his advice is well worth taking.
What am I studying? I’m very curious about the intellectual property strategies of nanotechnology ventures so my journey is starting with a survey of the current understanding of patent strategies and nanotech commercialization efforts.
So, when I’m stuck and having trouble focusing, I’m likely to post musings to get me back to work. If you are considering a DBA or a doctorate after having been in the ‘real’ world for a while and are curious as to why or how I’m doing this, drop me a line and it might inspire me to get to it.
